On the 21st of December 2024 we sadly lost our dear friend and chairman of LISN, Brendan McAtamney. The LISN committee would like to extend our most sincere condolences to Brendan's family and friends. Brendan was the driving source behind the creation of LISN and had a palpable passion and unwavering drive to support those affected by liver conditions. His leadership and kindness left an indelible mark on our committee and his memory will forever remain at the heart of our mission.

The Human Tissue (Transplantation, Post-Mortem, Anatomical Examination and Public Display) Act was signed into law on 26th February 2024 and provides a robust, transparent and ethical legal framework.
